Xstrata Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xstrata plc, develops, markets and supports technologies for the global mining, mineral processing and metals extraction industries. These technologies, originally developed for use in own operations, are marketed for use by third parties.

Overview
Xstrata Process Support (XPS) is a licensed metallurgical engineering, technology services and testwork business based in Falconbridge (Ontario) Canada that serves the global mining industry. We are available to provide quality technical expertise for orebody characterisation, operational support, growth initiatives, and project development for commodity areas which include: Nickel, Copper, Zinc, Gold, PGM's and Industrial Minerals.
Xstrata Process Support also manages a (Metallurgical) 'Engineer in Training' programme.
