Xstrata Zinc: Temporary restriction on customer deliveries fro Northfleet lea refinery

Mount Isa, 13 February 2007

Xstrata Zinc advises that there is a temporary restriction currently in place on customer deliveries from the Northfleet lead refinery in the United Kingdom due to lower lead supplies from Mount Isa.

In applying these restrictions we have declared force majeure equitably across all customers and the situation remains under review.
