Xstrata plc subsidiary, Falconbridge Limited, announced that effective today it has changed its name to Xstrata Canada Corporation. The outstanding Series 2, Series 3 and Series H preferred shares of the company will continue to be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under their current trading symbols "FAL.PR.A”, “FAL.PR.B” and “FAL.PR.H”, respectively.
