Description of Operation
The Lennard Shelf Operations is a Teck-Cominco:Xstrata J.V. (50:50) on a Zn-Pb mine in the Kimberley region of Western Australia
Brief History of the Operation
The mine was put on care and maintenance by its former owner (Western Metals) in 2004. In September 2006 the Pillara underground mine was reopened and the concentrator started in February 2007.
